So how  are canyons made..?? How does canyons evolve..?

Canyons are wonderful land formations. With the help of gravity and time canyons form everywhere, water flowing through the path of least resistance to its temporary destination in the ocean. Here at Canyonlands NP, Utah, USA. A huge area of sandstone is being dug out by water and wind. Thanks to soft sandstone..

  1. Wow; it looks like a huge footprint! I have never seen that type of erosion. It looks like you had a air ride to appreciate this.

    • It does indeed look like a footprint. As a matter of fact, I was at a higher elevation on top of a canyon. Wish I could afford an air ride.. 🙂 Thanks for the comment..!
