This bird comes under the classification of Toucan. Residents of Tree hollows in tropical and sub-tropical regions. These birds are only present in the Americas and the Carribean.

They are mostly frugivorous by nature, they also prey on insects. Unlike most Toucans, they roost throughout the year and are not a threatened species.

Though this bird have a prominent colorful bill, it doesn’t come under horn-bills but is a Toucan.
