This a temple tank in Hampi’s Durbar area, It is constructed in a gallery like arrangement with steps in all directions made of tiled stone blocks. There is an elaborate water management system with water being delivered to the tank from the nearby river. The water level is mostly low as water gets in only by the virtue of rains during monsoon.

The construction was made during the reign of Vijayanagara empire.
